Dive right in with an internship or trainee programme

Are you studying business administration, process/mechanical engineering or computer science? Looking to enhance your theoretical know-how with valuable practical experience? As an intern or working student at Interseroh, you will discover a dynamic working environment where you will be involved in interesting projects and have plenty of room for your own ideas from the outset. And if you have already finished your degree, our advanced graduate trainee programme lets you get started right away on your sustainable career.

Kick-start your career – with an internship at Interseroh

In the middle of your studies but looking to simultaneously get some practical experience? Why not apply for an internship or working student placement at one of the industry’s leading providers of recycling and integrated services?

Closing loops, preventing waste and conserving resources – these are the goals that inspire us. If you would like to work towards these important goals for the future while still studying, then an internship at our company is the right choice to make.

At Interseroh, interns gain their first insights into the world of recycling and work with us on our ambitious projects. Working student placements let you supplement your coursework material – e.g. as part of practice-oriented dissertation work – with teamwork, personal assignments and the chance to develop your technical and personal skills.

Since we value both your commitment and your ideas, we offer an attractive level of financial compensation and ensure that you feel at home within our team – letting you gain important industry experience while already laying the groundwork for your career.

Meet the Team: Alissa Glienke, intern in HR Development & Recruiting

What’s special for you about your internship at Interseroh?

My duties are both interesting and very varied. It didn’t take me long to get a good idea of how the HR department works. And Interseroh had enough confidence in me to give me responsibility for my own tasks and projects.

Why do you like working at Interseroh?

First, I was treated like a full member of the team immediately. Second, my colleagues and co-workers are always happy to hear about my questions and suggestions. Last but by no means least, I also share Interseroh’s vision for a sustainable future!

What tip would you give to someone interested in completing an internship?

If you’re interested in the chance to manage your own projects while still studying, you should definitely apply for an internship at Interseroh.

Meet the Team: Jeannette Dinh, working student in Business Development

What do you value most about your working studentship?

I have found Interseroh to be a hugely innovative company, whose work focuses on interesting topics that are relevant to our society, such as the closed-loop economy and recycling.

Why do you like working at Interseroh?

My colleagues and co-workers are very friendly and open-minded – even on my first day, everyone said hello to me when I met them in the corridor. The company also has a good mix of younger and older people, industry experts and newcomers. You can ask questions all the time, and new ideas and approaches are both welcome and encouraged.

What would be your advice for anyone interested?

In Business Development in particular, it’s important to keep an eye on current trends and events in the market. By doing so, you show that you’ve understood the subject in depth and are also looking for the bigger picture.
